Acceptable Use Policy
This Policy describes prohibited and restricted uses of ChatResponder. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Purpose
ChatResponder is built for legitimate customer communication and marketing automation. Misuse can harm recipients, violate provider rules, and put workspaces and the platform at risk. You must use the Service lawfully and responsibly.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages without required consent or an applicable exemption
- Evade Meta, Twilio, carrier, or other channel messaging windows, tags, rate limits, or platform policies (including using message tags for marketing)
- Phish, spoof, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or links intended to compromise devices or accounts
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or incite harm against any person or group
- Process or solicit highly sensitive data in violation of law (for example certain health, financial, or children's data) without a lawful basis and safeguards
- Probe, scan, or attack the Service, bypass authentication, scrape without permission, or disrupt other customers
- Resell, timeshare, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly allowed
- Use API keys or MCP tools to exceed granted scopes, flood endpoints, or automate abusive behavior
3. Messaging and consent
You are responsible for obtaining and documenting any consent required to message contacts on each channel. Honor opt-outs and suppression requests promptly. Keep content accurate and appropriate for the channel and audience. Do not upload purchased contact lists that lack permission to message.
4. Content standards
Content you send or store must not be unlawful, deceptive, or abusive. We may remove or disable content that violates this Policy when we become aware of it, and we may report illegal activity to authorities or providers when appropriate.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, request information, limit features, suspend or terminate workspaces, revoke API keys, or preserve evidence as required. Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, history, and risk to recipients or the platform.
6. Reporting
To report abuse or a suspected violation, email info@rallanmedia.com with relevant details (workspace, channel, timestamps, sample messages when lawful to share).
